Utilising Chelsea's branding across digital, social, and logistical assets, the operator-turned-all-technology-firm will create "mutual branding opportunities."
"Chelsea's unique style, tenacity, and charisma resonate perfectly with Parimatch's passion for sport and ambition," stated Roman Syrotian, Co-CEO of Parimatch Tech. Having the honour of supporting the European Champions in 2020–21 comes with a lot of responsibilities.
"Fortunately, Parimatch is all about scaling new heights and relaxing feelings, and we are quite enthusiastic about the upcoming three years of our relationship. We have every confidence that this relationship will benefit our business, the club, and ultimately the millions of football fans across the world since our two brands are known for winning in flair and pursuing success.
Chelsea Football Club CEO Guy Laurence stated: "Both Chelsea and Parimatch aspire to excellence. Most importantly, we were both born to win, and we are brave and innovative.
"Parimatch had a very successful year last year as they grew, established new markets, and started a number of projects that changed the game. By winning the European championship for the second time in our history, Chelsea demonstrated its superiority as well. This collaboration and the potential it presents excite and make us proud.
Similar relationships with 1xBet were established by Chelsea, Tottenham, and Liverpool in 2019; however, the agreements were later terminated as a result of allegations that 1xBet participated in cockfight betting and used topless croupiers.
Naturally, Parimatch won't have these issues as company has goals to go public, as Co-CEO Maksym Liashko explained on the GI Huddle.
Chelsea won the Champions League the previous year, and this year, they want to compete at the top of the Premier League and the Champions League.
Watch out for the Q&A with Katerina Belorusskaya, founder of Parimatch Tech, which will appear exclusively in the September/October issue of Gambling Insider.
