The online betting company claims it would use the agreement to "engage and excite football fans around the world during the FIFA World Cup." The company now operates in 10 nations around the world, including Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Romania in Europe.
"FIFA and Betano have a shared ethos of using technology to enhance the fan experience, and we're excited to see what they have planned to engage fans around the region," said Luis Rodriguez, Head of Partnership Development at FIFA, of the agreement. This is an amazing news as we enter a new industry on the eve of the FIFA World Cup.
George Daskalakis, co-founder and CEO of Kaizen Gaming, continued by saying, "We are thrilled to be the first sports betting company to work with FIFA on the world's largest football event.
Our mission is to provide them with a responsible sports betting experience of the greatest calibre that will improve their involvement with the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This agreement will bring us one step closer to the millions of football enthusiasts across the world.
Following the signing of a new agreement between the two parties, Betano recently said that it will now host material from FBM Digital Systems (FBMDS) in Brazil.
Brazilian users of Betano will get access to the supplier's catalogue, which includes more than 60 online casino games that range from slots to table games.
